The Giving Tree

One of my favorite books is The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein. Over the years I've found that there are as many interpretations of the story as people that have read it. I basically wrote this song retelling the story in my own words. Beat by 2 Deep.

This song was a big collaboration with a bunch of people involved. There was Ally (from USC) who came up with the whole idea and concept of the message to be conveyed. Hannah (UCLA) sang the perdy perdy hook, that was written by Nathan (UCLA, Seriously). Greg (USC) did the mixing and we recorded in his studio.
